Once a skater has completed all of the tests for a given discipline (usually seven or eight), they become a U.S. Figure Skating gold medalist in that discipline. Skaters who have become gold medalists have spent countless hours on the ice perfecting their skills, and we are very proud of each and every one. For more information about U.S. Figure Skating test levels, visit our Testing Prerequisites or Adult Testing page.
