Virtual Test Session

Our virtual test session on Monday, August 31^st yielded great results! The following skaters passed tests:

• Aven passed her Pre-Preliminary Skating Skills test
• Brooke passed her Pre-Preliminary Skating Skills test
• Ivy passed her Pre-Preliminary Skating Skills test
• Kinzleigh passed the first of her gold solo pattern dance tests – the Argentine Tango

Of special note – Coach Olivia passed her last two gold solo pattern dance tests: the Viennese Waltz and the Westminster Waltz – the latter one with Honors! This makes her a triple gold medalist as she was already a gold medalist in Skating Skills and Solo Free Dance. We couldn’t be more proud!

We will be hosting another virtual test session soon, so keep an eye out for that announcement.

Synchro – Mondays, 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm

Coach Heidi started a Synchro team over the summer and it’s going strong! Practices are held Monday nights from 5:45 pm to 6:45 pm with a one-hour freestyle session after. If you’ve ever wondered what synchronized skating is like or wanted to skate on a team, come check it out!

Learn to Skate Sessions

Learn to Skate begins the weekend of September 12/13! These sessions run for 6 weeks and are a great way to start your journey on the ice. Visit our Learn to Skate page for more information about this program.

Annual Meeting and Elections – Wednesday, October 14, 5:15 pm – 8:00 pm

We will be holding our annual meeting and elections on Wednesday, October 14^th. Please plan to attend so your voice can be heard! Parents/guardians will be voting on behalf of their minor club member, and adult members who are not able to attend may designate a proxy. More information will be available in the October newsletter.

If you are interested in running for one of the three open positions, please email the board so your name can be added to the ballot.

Club Photos – Wednesday, October 14, 5:15 pm – 7:45 pm

Club photos will be taken by Josh Sharp again this year during our regular Wednesday night Freestyle session. Keep an eye out for more information and sign-ups coming soon.
