The Charleston Figure Skating Club (CFSC) was founded in 1960 as a member club of the U.S. Figure Skating Association, the governing body of figure skating in the United States. Charleston Figure Skating Club is a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster amateur participation in figure skating. We support figure skating at the local, regional, national, and international levels. Membership in CFSC includes membership in U.S. Figure Skating. Our members include both kids and adults who skate recreationally and competitively. Our skaters participate in multiple figure skating disciplines including singles, pairs, and ice dance.
Where We Skate
Our home rink is the South Charleston Memorial Ice Arena (SCMIA). It is located in the Trace Fork shopping center just off Route 119. The SCMIA offers daily public skating sessions, Learn to Skate USA classes, and freestyle sessions. Monthly passes are available for public skating sessions, and club members have the option to rent lockers annually. Check out their Skating Schedule for public skate times.
