Preparing for Competition

When you get ready to head off to your competition, make sure you have the following items with you:

Skates
Guards and soakers
Extra pair of laces
Competition outfit(s)
Tights – and an extra pair
Comb, brush, hairspray
Hair accessories – scrunchies, bobby pins, clips, extra bobby pins, etc.
Makeup
Warm up jacket or sweater
A backup copy of your music (accessible online or on your phone as long as you also have a cable to connect the phone to speakers)
Emergency kit including band-aids, pain relief tablets, water, etc.
Directions to the competition rink
Know your event number(s) and time(s)
